Congratulations to Tony Houghton and Rita McCreath, who have won this year's Calder trophy.  Runners-up are Nigel Marlow and David King, just ahead of third-equals Marion Mead & Dorothy Moore and Margaret Patterson & Terry Harris - Marion & Dorothy edge the third prize by virtue of a superior seventh score (6th compared with 9th).  Twenty-one pairs returned the requisite six or more scores, just three fewer than last season, and the Calder remains one of our most popular Club competitions.
