"Where do our boards come from" is probably not something you worry about when playing bridge at the Parish Centre but of course there is nothing magical about them appearing every Thursday which a fresh set of deals.
When the club first acquired a dealing machine, Terry Harris took ownership and dealt all the boards and produced the printouts. Kate Mole took over the role in September 2021, aided and abetted by her non-bridge playing friend Kate, and they have done an excellent job over the last few years.
Now, February 2025, Trish Frew and Angela Hutchison have taken over the role. It is daunting to start with but Kate's training was excellent as they have now produced their first three sets of boards for us to play.
