On Monday evening the Committee decided to make a grant to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) that will pay for the installation of a Positive Input Ventilation system at the Parish Hall. Details of these systems can be found by googling PIV.

It is expected that the PCC will commission the work shortly and that it will be installed in the next few weeks.

Although we've received no complaints about the air quality at the hall with our reduced numbers and shorter games, hopefully this will reassure all those wishing to play bridge at the Parish Centre that we are addressing this long-term concern and there will be no need to keep windows open for ventilation, especially during the winter months.
