... could hardly have been closer, with Brian Thomas and George Martin beating last year's winner Colin Edney and his 2016 partner Reg Drysdale by 0.1 of a point when the Best 6 Average Scores were calculated!  Gary Ellis and Sandy Moor were 3rd, and Ros French and Diana Drysdale 4th.  Congratulations to all.

A total of 23 pairs played in six or more of the ten rounds in this, the Club's principal tournament, and so qualified for the final Average Score calculation - making it the most popular of the Tuesday evening events.
