Those who were not at the Club last evening will not have heard from Christine the sad news that Rita McCreath died in the small hours of Sunday morning.  Rita was a founder-member of our Club and was Club President from 1991 to 1994: as well as being an expert player and 3-Star Master, she was always good company, always ready with pertinent and helpful comments and advice about hands and play, and it's safe to say that all of us who were lucky to partner her at any time will have learned a lot from having done so.  She will be very much missed.

Rita's funeral will be at 11.30 a.m. on Friday 5th April at Houndwood Crematorium TD14 5TP, and all Club members are welcome to attend.
