Christopher Smith reports that Mary Birtwhistle passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, 28 September aged 101. She had been a member of the club for a good few years before becoming housebound.

Her funeral will be held at Berwick Parish Church at 1pm on Monday, 9 October. All are very welcome to attend.
