Starting 1 January 2025, clubs can award local master points for their simultaneous pairs events. Previously, the SBU awarded all master points centrally.

The SBU will continue to award national and local points to top performers.

Club-awarded points will count toward the George Martin and Betty Kelly Trophies. This change affects the two Easter Simultaneous Pairs events in March.
