Two items of note that will be mentioned at the AGM next month:

- From 2018-19 the club's financial year will end after the last evening of club bridge of the traditional winter season. This will allow the entire winter season to be included in the accounts and also mean that the congress will be in the accounts too, rather than preliminary numbers.

- From 2018-19 the AGM will be held in the last week of May. This is to allow the accounts to be audited.

The benefit for club members is that a more accurate, audited, assessment of the club's financial position will be presented to the AGM.
