This season's Grindon competition went right down to the wire, with Nigel Marlow retaining by a whisker the trophy he won in 2015.  Final "best four" results showed 4 players neck-and-neck - Nigel, Joan Tait, Ros French, and Louis Moore: analysis of fifth-best results narrowed it down to Nigel and Joan, and it took the sixth-best comparison to clinch the title for Nigel.  Congratulations to Nigel, and to all who made this season's competition the most keenly fought in years!
