The top three pairs in last year's McDonald Cup placings have all retained their positions this season.  Colin and Penny held on to top spot (just!) by virtue of a better fifth result than that of runners-up Ros and George, whilst Garneth and Sandy were once again third and Jean and Trish, fifth last year, were fourth this year.  As usual in this event, competition was fierce, with only 2 points separating the "best 4" scores of the top four finishers.  Congratulations to the winners, and to all participants for making it so competitive!
