Entries are invited for the annual Border Association of Bridge Clubs Pairs Competition that will be held at the Gala Rugby Club on Sunday 18 November. It is a single session (24-26 boards) pairs event featuring members of Berwick, Duns, Hawick, Jedburgh, Kelso, Ormiston (Melrose), and Peebles bridge clubs.
The entry fee will be £10 per pair and we would ask you arrive by 1.30pm to ensure a prompt start at 2pm.
Tea or coffee will be available on arrival and normal refreshments will be provided afterwards along with the trophy and prizes presentation.
Anyone who wishes to take part should sign up on the notice board at the club or email Brian Griffiths (please enclose your SBU numbers) by Thursday 1 November.
The club has a good history in this event with Brian and George winning last year and eleven pairs participating. It would be great to see this continue.
Please note that there is an error in the club program and this event is being held at Gala Rugby Club as last year, not Kelso.
