Congratulations to Brian Thomas and George Martin, who were clear winners at the Borders Pairs competition held at Gala Rugby Club on Sunday 19 November; and congratulations also to Marguerite Robson and Ann Ross who were fourth. Altogether 33 pairs took part, including 11 pairs from Berwick, and it was reckoned to have been the most successful Borders pairs event for many years. Many thanks to the Ormiston Club for organising a most enjoyable afternoon.
