As many members will be aware, Paul Gipson has been extremely busy since the beginning of the "Lock-down" organising and running various events and competitions for us online, using the BBO website.  Each week there are informal matches, usually on a Pairs or Teams basis, and in addition he has organised friendly matches between Berwick players and members of other Clubs.  More than 30 Berwick members have so far taken part, and in addition to organising the events Paul has also given time to helping with connection or other technical problems, as well as advising and commenting from time to time on aspects of the bidding and playing - fortunately, Paul's Bridge skills are matched by his internet skills!

All of us who have taken part in these games are enormously grateful to Paul for giving his time so generously.  He has gone a long way towards compensating for the curtailment of our Club season and the cancellation of our 2020 Congress, as well as giving Berwick Bridge Club some excellent publicity on the Web.
